Irish Army Vickers Handcart (Pram)

Description

Very rare to find, this Vickers handcart (also  known as the “pram”)  was constructed by the Irish Army as a means of transport, designed to carry the Vickers gun, tripod, condenser can, spares and 4 x 250 round ammo boxes, and were used from the 1920’s until late 1960’s. Most were scrapped at that time or deteriorated with age

This particular example was recovered from the Curragh in early 2000’s and was carefully restored to original pattern using the existing parts wherever possible.

It is in excellent condition, the price is collect only, but we may be able to assist with delivery, please ask.
